Undeterred: Lauren Carlini

We had the opportunity to visit Lauren Carlini in the most recent season at Aydin B.Sehir. Since a young age, Lauren has seen herself becoming an Olympian. She has been a key member of USA Volleyball for years, but in the summer leading up to the Tokyo games, she was cut from the Olympic roster. Lauren was unbelievably open and honest about her experience dealing with complex emotions, how she overcame her self-doubt and disappointment, and the important lessons she will carry with her going forward. We admire Lauren immensely for the player she is and even more the admirable woman she is off the court.
