Welcome Adversity Volleyball Club to LOVB!
We’re excited to welcome another incredible club to the LOVB community: Adversity Volleyball Club! Adversity is one of the top youth volleyball programs in the Chicagoland area and has earned a national reputation for excellence both on and off the court.
Founded in 1999, Adversity was built on the belief that “adversity builds a champion.” This powerful motto guides everything they do. Led by the incredible duo Kyle and Melissa Masterson, the club provides volleyball training for boys and girls ages 7 to 18, at every skill level from beginner to elite.
What sets Adversity apart is their holistic approach to player and team development. They don’t just focus on technique but also the entire athlete, helping young players become confident, disciplined, and team-oriented individuals. The results speak for themselves: over 100 of their 500 alumni have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, with several continuing their careers professionally around the world.
We’re beyond proud to have Adversity Volleyball Club join the LOVB ecosystem. Their mission and values align perfectly with ours, and we can’t wait to see the amazing impact they’ll continue to make on the volleyball community.
