League One Volleyball (LOVB) today announced that Nebraska Medicine will return as the official medical provider for LOVB Nebraska’s 2026 season. Nebraska Medicine will continue to supply team physicians, sports psychology and physical therapy support to ensure LOVB Nebraska athletes maintain peak performance throughout the season, both at home and on the road.

“Partnering with LOVB Nebraska in its first season was a privilege, and we’re thrilled to carry that partnership forward,” said Richard Amendola, MD, Nebraska Medicine orthopaedic surgeon. “Our sports medicine program is built on the belief that elite athletes deserve elite care, and this team represents that standard every time they take the court. To help power their success — and to be part of what’s building in the volleyball community here — is incredibly meaningful.”

The renewed partnership includes prominent brand integration throughout the fan experience, including front-of-jersey placement, an on-court logo, LED signage, hospitality placements, and digital and social storytelling through LOVB Nebraska’s channels, including Insider email features with promotional offers.

“As we prepare for season two, Nebraska Medicine remains an invaluable partner,” said Michelle McGoldrick, LOVB Chief Business Officer. “We’re incredibly proud to be partners with an organization known for excellence throughout the Nebraska community and whose expertise in sports medicine ensures our athletes receive world-class care.”

Anchored by four-time Olympic medalist and team owner Jordan Larson, LOVB Nebraska’s 2026 roster features standout athletes including Husker alumna Lexi Rodriguez, and Creighton alumna Jaali Winters, with Suzie Fritz serving as head coach and former Creighton women’s volleyball head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth serving as president of business operations.
