We’re excited to welcome the Jacksonville Junior Volleyball Association (JJVA) to the LOVB family!
Founded in 1989 from just three teams, JJVA has grown to over 500 athletes across 74 teams, becoming the premier youth volleyball organization in Northeast Florida. With a dedicated staff of more than 70 coaches, JJVA provides high-level training and competitive opportunities for both girls and boys across all skill levels.
JJVA’s mission goes beyond volleyball and is about building strong, healthy, and confident athletes through sport. “For the past 35 years, JJVA has been committed to helping athletes 'Get Better Every Day,’” said Adis Imamovic, JJVA Director of Volleyball. “Joining League One Volleyball is a natural next step in that mission—connecting our players to a national movement that shares our passion for growth, excellence, and the future of volleyball.” Lisa Davis, JJVA Chairman of the Board, adds, “This partnership allows us to elevate our commitment to athlete development, connect our players to a national pipeline, and be part of a movement that’s transforming the future of volleyball in the U.S.”
As part of the LOVB ecosystem, JJVA joins a nationwide effort to grow the game from the grassroots to the pros. Together, we’re building a future where every athlete is supported, every community is empowered, and volleyball takes its rightful place on the national stage.
