League One Volleyball (LOVB) today announced that UW Health will return as the official medical provider for LOVB Madison’s 2026 season. The renewed partnership will continue to deliver world-class care from UW Health physicians and physical therapists, along with expedited clinic access to support player performance throughout the season.
“After a successful inaugural season, we are proud to extend our partnership with LOVB Madison,” said Dr. David Bernhardt, primary care sports physician at UW Health, professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and lead team physician for LOVB Madison. “We are honored to support a team that is inspiring fans and growing the game across our community.”
As the team’s official medical provider, UW Health will receive front-of-jersey placement along with additional integrations across game-day experiences, medical team support and digital storytelling celebrating the power of care in sport.
“UW Health’s support in season one was outstanding, and we’re thrilled to continue the partnership,” said Michelle McGoldrick, LOVB Chief Business Officer. “Their commitment to athlete care matches the ambition of our team on the court, and this collaboration will continue to propel LOVB Madison into season two.”
