Get To Know Madi

Madi Bugg get-to-know:

I was destined to play volleyball and perhaps even more destined to have strong quads from the very beginning.

Madi Bugg get-to-know:

My brother, Logan, and my sister, Avery, and I dressed up for Halloween in...2003? I'm the eldest daughter in my family and it was generally like this photo: goofy, a little bit frazzled, and very cute. My mom did my vampire makeup. I can give you her number if you want to book an appointment.

Madi Bugg get-to-know:

Kelsey and I at Carnevale in Venice this February! I love a chance to dress in theme (as you may notice) and Kelsey makes me laugh all day long. Volleyball has brought me to so many places and situations that I never even thought to dream of until they were right in front of me: Oktoberfest in Munich, the highest point of Europe in Switzerland, a stunt double gig in a movie filmed in China, Sixman in Manhattan, Guatemala where I bought a purse off the street vendors that I still use today. And now it's bringing me home!

Madi Bugg get-to-know:

This is a selfie of my fiance (Matthew West) and me at the Trevi Fountain at 3 am in Rome over Christmas break in 2019. This was such a fun trip but it took us two hours to find our way home after this because both of our phones had died. I laughed, I cried, and Matt figured it out in the end. That pretty much sums it up as far as explaining us goes.

Madi Bugg get-to-know:

My group of friends dressed up as "Things" from Cat in the Hat our Senior year at Stanford. Very smart people, I promise. People who helped me grow and made me laugh through some of the more daunting times at college.

Madi Bugg get-to-know:

My parents and I in Cortina, Italy this winter. They have visited me all over the world and have no idea how grateful I am. My dad must ask 100 questions and my mom must rearrange my entire house, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
