LOVB Nebraska Teams Up With Anytime Fitness

New partnership brings volleyball and fitness together through a shared commitment to health, strength, and Nebraska communities

OMAHA, Neb. – LOVB Nebraska announced today a partnership with Anytime Fitness, connecting professional volleyball and neighborhood fitness through a shared commitment to health, strength and community.

The partnership aligns Anytime Fitness’s welcoming approach to fitness with LOVB Nebraska’s commitment to creating a place Nebraskans identify with, belong to and are proud of. It will bring people together through athlete appearances and opportunities to connect at home matches.

“We want LOVB Nebraska to be a place where people feel connected and supported, both on the court and in the community,” said Kirsten Bernthal Booth, president of business operations for LOVB Nebraska. “Physical and mental well-being are such an important part of that. This partnership gives us another opportunity to bring our athletes into the community, share our love for volleyball, and build relationships with the people we represent.”

To celebrate the partnership, LOVB Nebraska athletes – as well as Nebraska natives and former Husker volleyball players – Rebekah Allick and Lindsay Krause-Wildeman will appear from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 19210 Q Street in Omaha, the newest Anytime Fitness location opening later this year.

The appearance will include autograph opportunities, photos with the athletes, a vertical leap challenge, a reaction light challenge and giveaways.

“We love Nebraska, we love volleyball, and we’re proud to support women’s sports right here in our community,” said Brian Thomas, owner of Anytime Fitness. “This partnership with LOVB brings those passions together seamlessly. Having Rebekah and Lindsay join us gives people a chance to meet two athletes who grew up here and are continuing their careers representing Nebraska.”

“For Brian and I, opening Anytime Fitness is about so much more than just opening a gym. We want to create a place where people feel welcome, supported, and motivated to become the best versions of themselves,” said Shannon Thomas, owner of Anytime Fitness. “We’re incredibly excited to bring a brand-new Anytime Fitness to Omaha in December and look forward to building lasting relationships in the community.”

As part of the partnership, Anytime Fitness will have digital signage at LOVB Nebraska and Premier Nebraska’s state-of-the-art practice facility in Gretna and a table at three home matches, where fans can meet its staff and learn more about its fitness offerings.
