Meet Kirsten

Kirsten Bernthal Booth serves as President of Business Operations for LOVB Nebraska, bringing a championship mindset and nationally respected leadership background to the organization. In her role, she oversees business strategy, organizational leadership, community engagement, and efforts to grow the professional volleyball landscape across Nebraska while helping shape the future of the sport nationally.


A nationally recognized coach, mentor, and culture builder, Booth spent more than two decades elevating Creighton Volleyball into a perennial national powerhouse while helping grow the game and inspire the next generation of athletes. During her 22 seasons as head coach at Creighton University, Booth became the winningest coach in program history. Under her leadership, the Bluejays made 14 NCAA Tournament appearances, advanced to four NCAA Sweet 16s and two Elite Eights, and captured 11 consecutive BIG EAST regular-season championships along with 10 BIG EAST Tournament titles.


Booth earned multiple national coaching honors throughout her career, including three National Coach of the Year recognitions, five AVCA Regional Coach of the Year awards, and five BIG EAST Coach of the Year honors. Known for building elite team culture and developing student-athletes on and off the court, her leadership style emphasizes connection, resilience, and empowering young women through sport — values that align closely with LOVB’s mission to reimagine the future of volleyball in America.


A proud Midwesterner and passionate advocate for women’s athletics, Booth remains deeply committed to family, community, and the continued growth of volleyball at every level. She and her husband, Erik, have three daughters: Reese, Hayden, and Berkeley.
