LOVB Nebraska Adds Bob Devaney Sports Center to Its Statewide Stage

Four former Huskers highlight star-studded roster set to return to The Bob

LINCOLN, Neb. – LOVB Nebraska will build on its statewide commitment with a match at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in late March during the upcoming 2026-27 season, bringing four former Huskers back to Lincoln. Jordan Larson, Lexi Rodriguez, Rebekah Allick and Lindsay Krause-Wildeman will return to their collegiate home court, giving Nebraska volleyball supporters an opportunity to see them compete together at the professional level.

The opponent, match date and start time will be announced with LOVB Pro's full 2026-27 schedule.

"Having coached at Devaney, I know how much energy Nebraska can bring to that building," said Kirsten Bernthal Booth, LOVB Nebraska co-owner and president of business operations as well as former Creighton head coach. "To have LOVB Nebraska there, with four former Huskers and athletes who have competed on the world's biggest stages, is something we're excited to share with Lincoln and the surrounding area. We want people across Nebraska to feel connected to this team, and bringing matches to different communities is an important part of that."

The Bob Devaney Sports Center is home to the University of Nebraska volleyball team, currently ranked No. 1 in the nation with an overall record of 21-0 (10-0 Big 10). Larson, a Hooper native and four-time Olympic medalist, helped Nebraska win the 2006 national championship and earned three All-America honors during her collegiate career. She later served on Nebraska's coaching staff from June 2023 to January 2025.

"I can't wait to see everyone at The Bob and I'm excited to be heading back to Lincoln," Larson said. "It's always special to play in front of Husker Nation and getting to do that with this team will mean a lot."

Rodriguez finished her Nebraska career as a four-time AVCA All-American and the program's career digs leader with 1,897. She earned first-team All-Big Ten honors in each of her four seasons and received the 2025 AAU James E. Sullivan Award.

Allick earned second-team AVCA All-America and first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2025. A three-time all-conference selection, she finished her collegiate career with 543 blocks, fifth in Nebraska’s rally-scoring era.

Krause-Wildeman earned Big Ten All-Freshman and NCAA Austin Regional All-Tournament honors in 2021. She also was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and helped Nebraska reach the NCAA championship match in 2021 and 2023.

"These athletes mean so much to our program and to Husker Nation," Nebraska head coach and LOVB Nebraska ambassador Dani Busboom Kelly said. "I've been fortunate to share the court with Jordan and coach Rebekah, and I'm so excited to welcome back this group and LOVB Nebraska to Lincoln. Our supporters have followed their professional careers, and I know they'll pack the building to welcome them back, see them compete on the professional stage and show them once again that there truly is no place like Nebraska."

The Lincoln match builds on LOVB Nebraska's commitment to bringing professional volleyball to communities across the state. In March 2026, the team played before a sold-out, record LOVB crowd in Grand Island.

Presale begins Wednesday, Nov. 18, with tickets going on sale to the public later that day. Become a LOVB Nebraska season ticket holder to guarantee tickets and secure the best available seats. For tickets and information about the 2026-27 season, visit lovbneb.com.
