6 conference titles, 3 final fours, and 2 national championships later. Thank you to @texasvolleyball and Longhorn nation for all of the support and love yall have shown me these past 6 years. From the moment I stepped onto campus in 2018, my journey has been anything but easy. Thankfully, God put me in the perfect place full of love and support to get me through every obstacle thrown my way.
To my coaches: thank you for pushing me every single day to be the very best version of myself. Thank you for allowing me to be authentically myself and never trying to dim my light. Thank you for investing in Asjia as a person even more than Asjia as a volleyball player. Thank you for helping that shy 18 year old girl turn into a confident 24 year old woman. The life lessons yall have taught me will stick with me for the rest of my life. My forever family
To my teammates: Thank you for making my college experience so incredible. I’ve had the honor of playing with insanely talented women that encouraged me to be a better woman every day! Our program is truly a family and I will support my sisters for life!
I still can’t believe my time at Texas is over. This program and fan base has brought me so much joy over the years! The people I’ve met and the memories I’ve created will last a lifetime. Austin will always be home to me and I will forever bleed burnt orange! BACK 2 BACK NATTYS FOR THE CITY!! There’s no other way I’d want to close this amazing chapter. HOOK EM BABY🤘🏾
