Meet Madi

An outside hitter from Phoenix, Arizona, Madi was a member of the U.S. National Team, where she was named “Best Spiker” at the 2016 Pan American Cup. She has also represented the U.S. on the Women’s Collegiate and Women’s Junior National teams. At the University of Arizona, Madi was the first NCAA athlete to earn both Indoor and Sand All-American honors.

This is the night my jersey was retired at my high school and I was added to the Hall of Fame. A really special day in my volleyball career. Also my coach, Amber Letarte, is still coaching there, and she is such a great human

In college, my boyfriend (now husband) would say this to me IMMEDIATELY after losing a match. It drove me crazy. Eventually, I started to say it to myself in volleyball and life situations.
