Meet Mo

Marylyn “Mo” Mozena serves as the Director of Operations & Community Outreach for LOVB Nebraska, overseeing game and event operations, community outreach initiatives, and local engagement efforts across the state. In her role, she helps create meaningful connections between LOVB Nebraska and the communities it serves while supporting the organization’s operational success behind the scenes.


A native of Weeping Water, Nebraska, Mo brings a strong background in athletics, education, coaching, and community leadership to LOVB Nebraska. A former multi-sport collegiate athlete, she played both volleyball and basketball at Bellevue University before earning her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska Omaha. In May 2025, she completed her Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership from Clemson University.


Mo began her career as an elementary teacher while also serving as the head junior high volleyball coach and assistant basketball coach at Weeping Water High School, where she helped lead the basketball program to its first-ever state championship in 2021. In 2021, she became the head volleyball coach at an NAIA institution in Kansas City before beginning her work with the league in November 2025 as an event manager.


Passionate about youth development, community engagement, and the continued growth of volleyball in Nebraska, Mo is excited to help create memorable experiences for athletes, fans, and communities across the state.


She currently resides in Weeping Water with her dog, Esso.
